A 600W digital ballast using mh/hps combo will get you 1 1/2 - 2 lbs easily in a 4x4. I use a 400W mh/hps and average about 23-27 ounces per harvest in a 4x4 with 4 plants. You definitely do not need a 1000W hps like so many are saying lately for some reason. Or an led around 450-600W real...

If you have a hard time getting bulbs led would be best. You won't need to replace anything for a decade.

You have no option. That can only use a 400w mh. Cmh require their own special ballast. You will need a new digital ballast to use both mh and hps.

Co2 is not really worth it for a home grower "in my opinion", and can be dangerous. If you don't have the plants growing in a completely sealed airtight room the co2 will be wasted.

How much space? Let me give you an example. In my 4x4 tent with a 400W hps and 4-5 weeks veg I get 1 1/2 lbs from 4 plants. With the lights you have I would guess in a 5x5 area you could get 2 1/2lbs+ fairly easily.

600 is perfectly fine for a 4x4, edge buds will be fine. Especially if you put the 1000's on either end and the 600 in the middle.
