They need darkness. Even if the suns not out there still getting light.

There not far into flower so it wouldn't affect it imo but by covering they'll create bigger buds

if sun up is at 7 that's perfect.

If your getting more than 14 hours of light then cover them and unveil them at night time or at dawn. Summers almost here days are getting shorter.
