Focused on cal mag def, but could it be lights?

PH is swinging up nicely PPM is going down as it should Looked at roots and there's no smell, no slime etc. They are brown but if you've used Remo you know the colors are deep and my water turns pink/orange so the roots are absorbing color. So I'm sure no root rot Wayer is 67 so no pith.

Focused on cal mag def, but could it be lights?

It's in RDWC I had it at 1000ppm and they would eat 500ppm in a day or two and PH would go from 5.5 to 6.2 in a few days too. I think the plants uptook a ton water to offset the light and in the meantime took the nutes with the water hence the drop in ppm and rise in PH I was trying to battle...

Kelp, micro, gro, magcal etc. Ph at 5.8 Water temp 67 Ppm 1400 Week 4 veg Lights: 70% at 26" -...

Hey No it was a bit slimed on just the Bluelabs wires in the main Reservoir. I am using CurrentCulture UC Roots so it's not completely sterile. Stuff smells like pool water so I assume it has some sort of chlorine and or h202 I'm running lights at 70% at 30" but I think it's too much. I...

    Softened water in a humidifier?

How could it be calcium? That would be removed via the ion exchange process with the salt. All I'm saying is I chose to install my humidifier water feed after my softener and before my RO and it's toxic.
