Can you peel off the serial number sticker on the mw driver? See if it matches the one on the actual casing(metal/plastic?). Some use known authenticated stickers over fake, etc. Then all you need to do is match the SN on mw website to know if it's probably legit.

These help diagnose threads with pics are hard by nature ...... I don't see actual "tacoing" on the leaves and other lady shows nothing on the tops. Doesn't mean it can't be environmental, just guessing on the internetzzz without a physical presence. Raising the lights should be a easy check...

Hlg advises against moving the driver(s) on their prebuilt, so a small circulation fan pointed at the driver/boards can help alleviate some of your concerns

I would advise against increasing the wattage/swapping driver within the warranty period...
