So just tried honeycomb instead. Came out good but not completely solid. Still semi ear wax/plyable feeling. Any way to get it solid and dry so it cracks in half? ?

Smell could become stronger if it wasn't harvested early.big part is just getting the drying right. Also harvesting early cuts into your yield big time! Patience is well worth it.
