It's hard enough to find smokers here, let alone a grower. The stuff you grow must be leagues above the brick weed we buy here. I remember the first one I smoked being so harsh and dark I was coughing for a good 30 seconds after the hit.

Also made me sleepy and slow as hell. I actually forgot how a push door worked lmao. When I went overseas the difference in bud quality was like night and day. I was like, "I finally understand how this gets classified as medicine because HOLY SHIT this is amazing stuff."

Muscle aches I wasn't even completely aware of because they were there so long just melted away. Chores I put off for ages were satisfying to do. My shitty appetite was completely demolished by munchies.

Guess I'm just curious, you a sativa or indica guy?

I'm still a new grower lah. Just started 1 year ago. My first grow was Northern Lights. Harvested on March. Yielded over 600g. Thats just too much weed man. I was so scared to keep all. LOL. Gave out a bunch of buds to friends and family. And I still have enough to last for another year. If I save by using vape.

My second grow was gorilla glue which failed on the 4th week of veg. It was my first hydro and I messed up the roots. And my current grow is Blue Dream CBD. Its a high CBD sativa. Its for my mom actually. She suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis and hoping that high CBD strain can help with her exacerbation.

Also planning to smoke it myself as a daytime smoke. I'm more of an indica smoker. I mean we have no choice here do we. Almost all the brick weed I managed to get previously is indica with heavy couch lock. So I only smoke strictly after work to wind down.

I only tried sativa when I was in Amsterdam. Jumping from one coffeeshop to another and smoking sativa, then go check out Van Gogh museum. Bloody heaven I tell you.

You mentioned that you are staying around Klang. Times are tough right now I know. Just gotta ride it out for at least 3 months until your first harvest. After that, you'll have enough stuff to last for months.

Brick weed we are getting here is just so dangerous man. Too much contaminants. Mold, insects, animal feces and this one time I even found a bird feather in it!!! Nothing more satisfying and safer than smoking the buds you grew yourself.

Also I meant to ask, do you grow in a dedicated grow room or a tent? I suspect my air conditioning/low humidity might be what killed my first seedling after it sprouted its first leaves but died after a week of stunted growth.

I'm growing in a dedicated room with air cond and a tent. For my current grow I had some issues with maintaining the temp and humidity. So I ended up just opening the tent flap and that solved the issue. Which made me think if a tent is even necessary. But it is unfortunately. In case of any air cond problem or servicing, having a tent conceals the plants easily.

What was your temp and humidity like at that time?

Temp/humidity in my room is consistently 28.5C 65% normally in the day and drops to 24C 40% when I turn the aircon/grow lights on at night. What tent did you get? Did it get too hot and thats why you opened a flap?

Perhaps I took off the humidity dome too quickly. Seedlings need like 60%+ in the first weeks right?

Its preferable to avoid rapid fluctuations of temp and humidity during light on/off. Why do you turn on the air cond during night time only man? You are growing auto right? So your light should be at least 18 hrs on and 6 hrs off. Its more practical to keep the lights off during night time.

What I do is lights off at 2am and on at 8am. So the plant sleeps when I do. Then during daytime I can attend to the plants anytime I want without any worries of light leaks. During seedling you want the temp around 26 - 28, RH at 60 - 70.

I think you are right. Maybe you removed the humidity dome too early. Now this is going to suck to hear but its so much easier to control temp/humidity by keeping the air cond on 24/7. Can turn off about an 1 hour or so everyday. During heavy veg phase you wont be having too much issues.

I am growing in Gorilla Grow Tent 4 x 4. I noticed with the tent closed, my temp from goes up to 27-28 during light on and 20 during light off. You want the temp to be +/- 5 degrees lights on/off. So I just opened the tent flap and that solved the issue. Lights on my temp is 23-24, lights off 20. Just nice.
