any chance you can send a pic of it? It's probably just the start of new growth, usually when it shows it's sex it doesn't look anything like a leaf

hey there again, umm i have a question, if you can help me out? What does it mean when it looks like theres leaves comming from between the branches. So far my plants just shooting up with the normal sets but it looks like leaves are comming out of the part where the branch meets the stem. Does that mean its a male or is that just new growth?

nothing wrong with CFL's, lots of people using em and getting great results. Check out the CFL lighting section in the indoor growing growing forum, lots of good info there for ya

that won't really matter as long as it's not in a cold basement, then it's best to get it off the floor. If your light is moveable get it as close to the plant as possible with out burning. As long as you can hold your hand there for 30 seconds it should be fine. If the light is stationary move your plant towards it. Growing with CFls I think right? If that's the case you want that sucker like 2 - 4 inches away

Thanks for the help again,If i put it my plant on a closet shelf that was 3 ft long and 2.5 ft from the lights would it grow better? Or would it be best to just grow it from the floor?
