If you want to give me your email I will be happy to send you the link to my gallery in google, I will be posting lots of the bud shots as they mature over the next several weeks. They have gotten more glittery every day and I am addicted to taking pictures of them.
i wouldnt see why you couldnt. i would just make sure its camoed very well and make sure the white perlite isnt visble, maybe a green net over the top of the bucket around the stalk. im not an outdoors guy though.
heck yea, im going to jacksonville community college this year as a freshman, i have been growing for like 3years but done a ton of reading and web surfing about it. shoot me a PM if u need anything.
yea just bury it in the perlite/vermiculite mix. yea ill be waiting for a grow journal, should be awesome u sound like a smart guy so u should have some A+ buds!
o also if i were u and have the money for it, try starting ur seeds in a rockwool cube and then once there is a nice root system established bury the cube in the perlite. then u might be able to do 100% perlite. the thing was that my roots dried up and never had a chance to get a foothold. and yes 1 cup vermaculite to 3 cups perlite.
it didnt work too well because perlite holds no water at all and the plants dried up. if u mixed some vermaculite in it, it might work better. mine would grow and pop out of the perlite but then die within like 3 days. too dry, and i misted all the time.
