as long as the rootsdon'tdry out and are coverd and the roots don't inner twine together they will be ok for a few days.

i use 1inch rockwool cubes, let the seedling sit in a soaked RW cube till you see root comingout the bottom, then translant, once you transplant to the 2 gallon buckets, make sure the RW cube is 1 inch above the flood line, as for the pumps not working, make sure to play with the float valves, one may not be connecting well
