I've not tried the big geekbeast 630 yet, but the monster board 240 is fully functional with just the Bluetooth. Hopefully the 630 will be too, as I'm setting up a new tent and will be getting it hanging soon

Last grow I had the canopy 6 inches away minimum and ran no higher than 90% on the Geekbeast and 80 % on the monster boards. No noticeable light toxicity issues, but definite calcium Def issues.
