Hey guys, my grow started in 2014, with one big lady trying to flower in November (I live in South Africa) and is now vegging along with her sister (same batch of seeds), and three LST "projects". The most interesting thing about my grow is that i belive to be growing some kind of pure(ish)...

Those white grubs are the larvae of our well known christmas beetle or "june bug" and they CHOW your roots like savages! Really impressive grow bru! You must have bud for the entire year by the looks of things, happy growing! peace

Thanks for all the advice! I'm sure she's got all the Nitrogen she needs, the organics I used were quite sturdy and I'm just going to assume that it's regular considering the cola's and the amount of energy required by her to produce such dank, the plant is super wobbly and the cola might need...

here is some bagseed, will let her mature a little longer :) 1st Grow under 400W HPS for flower and 7x20W cool white cfls made her veg :) She's been flowering for 10 weeks now.... Don't know why the lower leaves are going yellow, she's just had a spurt of new growth!

you might need a bigger box there bru, I have a 1m x 1m x 2.4m tall, although I use soil, and make sure you keep those ladies tied down :D CFM on your fan? And what's the temp and humidity in the room outside of the box? Looks really good so far man :weed:

Got it sorted finally, with some experimentation. I honestly don't know how some people call themselves electricians... Got more bad advice but finally used my own intelligence to sort this out. It's actually quite simple :) :) Look closely at the ignitor. input goes into ballast and out of...

"electricians" dude. they rate my transformer will be able to handle the pulse ignitor "because that HPS needs a pulse ignitor" they said. (which seems to be bullshit right now) so I got the pulse ignitor and the ballast rated for a superimposed ignitor... salesman piss me off bru, if only you...

I have wired the ballast like that from the beginning, just look at the picture I sent more closely and you will see that the black wire connects to terminal "D" on the ignitor and the live wires are fine too. (sorry I'm having a giggle because your solution takes place in the picture I took) :)...

The only problem I can think of is that I need a superimposed ignitor instead of a pulse ignitor? I'm really baffled dude... Any suggestions etc would be highly appreciated :weed:

I wired my transformer, capacitor and ignitor exactly to that in the picture, even changed the live and neutral around on the bulb holder, still no light although the ballast does hum slightly. Checked and double checked all connections, especially the one done up with red insulation tape. My...
