After I outright refused the initial solution, and several emails about how I feel the situation was handled another manager reached back out to me. They have agreed to send me a replacement lamp as initially requested, so I am satisfied with the resolution. Sorry for spamming the site.

Keep an eye on the connector between the driver and the light. I had two(before the first one melted) and they both got very hot at that connector. I am getting rid of my second one, my fluence lights do not even get warm at those connections. Mars Hydro support told me they had fixed this...

My issue is that replacing the connection in no way guarantees the light is fixed. They did not even want to inspect the light and said they had fixed other melted connectors for customers this way, telling me there is an ongoing problem with these things melting. And the company's response is...
