I used to make my butter and then make a couple hundred cookies and/or brownies and then put them in the freezer. I would toss the butter, there's a good chance of you getting sick with bad butter.

I am 65 and it hasn't killed me yet. I think you're safe to give it to your grandmother. As long as you let her know that's what she's getting and what kind it is and how strong it is. I would go for something light at first unless she wants more.

I didn't Realize that this "question" was put here that people could be nasty to each other. Everybody has their own opinion and everybody has a right to their own opinion. I don't like being told to eat s*** and die.
