You might be correct about the magnesium deficiency. Low pH can effect magnesium absorption. If the pH is fine, try giving the plant a small amount of magnesium sulfate dissolved in water. I'd say an appropriate amount would be one teaspoon per gallon, given about every 3-5 days. Keep an eye...
