    Trimming fan leaves?

I was wondering what people's theories/experiences are pertaining to removing fan leaves off plants in flower? My theory is that these leaves are feeding the plant and can be abscised by plant at any time. But just a theory. End game, maximize quantity/quality of bud.

    Winter Outdoor Finish.

Have put some mother plants from gifted clones out to flower, after a good round of cuttings. Looking and smelling tasty. Was told one was GDP or urkelicious. Anyone have an opinion as to which one the purple might be? Little grapey smell. Both varieties are quite potent. Purple, both pics same...

    Finishing plants outside "light question".

I want to pull some regular clones from under a vegetative light regime and let them finish under natural light outside in late winter early spring. At what date/day length do you think the plants will try to revert to vegetative growth. I am in Florida so the light quality and temperatures will...

    Russet mite treatments

I did use the sulfer a couple times and my plants have recovered well not only from mite and nicely into vegetative growth, ready for a good round of cutting. I will dip when it stick them.

    Ant Attack?

I could leave a little beer in the bottom of a few cans around, but I also have the real deal poison that I can sprinkle around, but not on or in my plants. But I am and work with a lot of commercial ornamental growers, so I have professional level chems available. But no desire to spray on my...

Anyone growing in a greenhouse? Advice?

Lots of air movement, rollup walls, ventilation. Also pruning and training of your plants to keep them of manageable size and density regardless of where you are growing. Big trees are cool, but not the easiest to manage.

    Florida Outdoors

For those of you not familiar with our months of 90+ degree weather, humidity to match and late day and night rains that come during prime flowering season on photoperiod strains. Lets just say it can be a perfect storm for botrytis(bud mold). I am working on 2 strategies to avoid this and...

    Ant Attack?

I will, but I have been scouting the area and the only current plants are some clones I have sprayed hard for russet mite and don't know if the apids would have survived. Sulfur is the next thing to be sprayed on the stock plants. Going to clean the whole area out and sterilize it. Thanks

    Ant Attack?

I mainly grow and finish my plants outside, but do maintain an area in a shed with LED lighting to start seedlings and get them a little size before taking outside. I had noticed a few ants, but never gave then much of a thought until recently I planted a few newly germinated seeds into soil...

How low of a pH value can weed leaves handle?

Did you start with seed or cuttings/clones. The one time I had hemp aphids they came in on some plants I was given. Ended up trashing a bunch. Have grown a bunch of crops from seed and never seen them. Had the same issue with russet mites this year on cuttings. A very low population of pests can...

    Revegetating Questions?

Hey yall, I was gifted some clone cuttings that started to flower on me, before I put them under 24/7 lighting to get them back into veg so I can get so additional cuttings. Cuttings also developed a nasty case of hemp russet mites, which I have been working toward elimination, I've noticed that...

    Hermie seeds

Use to work with tissue culture lab and liner production. The whole lab process can bring out all sorts of mutants/sports that for the most part are not good or stable, depending on plant species. Good stable varieties take time and it seems like in many breeders in their attempts for the next...
