It's clearly a calcium/magnesium issue (yellowing at the top, brown spots on lowers). The ph would be the first thing to check. after that add calmag and don't go overboard.

I know it is possible to grow great bud in hydro (done it). But the best weed is grown in organic soil. nothing else can compete.

Weed grown in soil tends to have more terpines an essential oils. Not to mention weed grown in hydro will most likely have chemical fertilizers in it. Most of the weed entered in the cannabis cup is grown in soil.
