Young plants smell more than mature plant that has been flowering for 4 weeks.

Give the stem a little rub with your thumb and a finger. You'll get a good hint at the direction she's heading in terpene wise

Terpene production is highest in the wee hours just before dawn. I had a Revolver Auto from Crop King Seeds that was a tiny plant but smelled like a dead skunk sitting under your chair the whole time it flowered. What a stinker. Lol.

    Too many tops for outdoor?

Yield is wholly dependent on the nutrients and type of nutrients available at different times in the life of your plant. You've probably heard over and over "know your plant". The downside for most is that by the time you really know a strain/plant, it's time to move onto another. I'm partial...

    Too many tops for outdoor?

My days of trying to impress myself, which can be fun, are over. I aim for yield regardless of shape or cola size. I tend to pay more attention to air flow and heavy defoliation 1/2 to 3/4 the way through flower. Seems like the flower (calyx) development is fuller and just plain prettier. Not...

    Drying...dreaded time

Danger Will Robinson. It doesn't matter how much air circulation you have, the high humidity will mold it in a day. I've heard of drying in a freezer (frost free) in a card board box, but a crisper is meant to be high humidity to keep veggies crisp. A frost free freezer raises the temp...

    Can i move to vegetation?

I'd give the new growth another week to acclimate. Note that when you flip, the plant will stretch to make new colas.

    Powder mildew

Wash them in 1 gallon of water and 1 cup of H2O2. It'll come off. A formal 2 part bud wash would make the world of difference and not only wash off PM, but would disinfect them, get rid of dust, hairs, mites and bugs, and any other nasties that land on them.

    Leaves curled

I see a few leaves starting to canoe. It's because you've maxed out your feeding and watering for the amount of light you have. Congrats. You have two options; 1. Like they've mentioned above, turn down the lights a bit. or 2. Increase air circulation considerably. A strong fan above and one...

    Harvest time?

Won't hurt to wait a little. I've yet to hear anyone say after a joint "You waited too long to harvest."

    Hermie seeds

Grew my fist plant in 1972.

    Hermie seeds

Do you ever want seedless bud? How in the world would you ever get unfertilized female flowers? Currently, there is no real scientific understanding of how or why hermaphroditism happens in dioecious plants (plants with two distinct sexes). We know we can induce it in weak FEMALE genetics...

    Hermie seeds

I don't agree. If there isn't a male involved, the pollen will not have the male genetic material necessary to produce male pollen. If you ended up with regular seeds, then a male in the area pollinated your flowers. Nanners tend to be contained within the bud. Without the space needed to...

Could You Grow Three Pounds A Light --- with the right coach?

lol. My bad. PPFD 2000. As mentioned above, DLI=60.

Could You Grow Three Pounds A Light --- with the right coach?

Lighting is more important than feed at that level. To get that you need to push your lighting hard. Like a DLI (Daily light interval) of 2000. Some plants have a light sweet spot before you start losing yield. But like corn, cannabis will use all you can throw at it (before you bleach it). With...
