Supply Purchase Question

Got into heated discussion with a buddy over this. He claims do not buy on line buy local with cash.

I'm thinking more likely the local sheriff could be taking license plate numbers locally if they are bored. Not that this is probable cause but who knows. This as opposed to buying out of state and my local guys getting subpeona for records etc.

Just wondering what you experienced folks think?

It depends. You get better deals online but if I need something right away then local is the way to go. Other than that I don't see a problem ordering online. Most shops come discreet packaging and you can use a safe addy.

Locally I typically pay cash just because I feel like it...if the grow store gets busted they have records.

Bought tents and shit on Amazon with no worry. You'd have to be a big fish for them to give a shit.

The number one thing is always peoples big mouths. The only person who knew before I was legal was my wife. Still only my wife, brother and cousin know.

To answer your question if you're really worried get a prepaid card and order to work or friends house.

I buy everything online unless its more convienant not to, the amount of people that buy gardening supplies and hydro gear for legitimate reasons far out number the amount of people who buy it for growing and the cops would be foolish to track every body who shops at the local hydro store or buys from online retailers. either way your safe. what I worry about is nosey neighbours seeing me carry large bags of soil into my ground floor apartment with nearly no sunlight lol, garbage bags work pretty good tho

95% of my grow supplies come extra-discretely, they all say "Amazon" on the box. They don't have a clue with using this super-stealth trick.

IMO, going to a hydroponic shop in a non MMJ state is insane. There are many, many published accounts of people getting "knock and talks", homes searched and arrested via buying locally.

Even a regular here at RIU was visited a week or so ago by LEO just because they saw him at a hydro store. (can't remember if the thread is in the legal edge section or florida grower thread)

Ebay or Amazon for me, I enjoy the limited freedom that I currently have.

True it can happen. If LEO comes over for a "knock and talk" say out your window "Do you have a warrant?". They have no right entering our house without a warrant and that take reasonable suspicion.
