Setup my grow cab.... you have $400 to spend :)

Hey what's going on. I haven't been active on this site for far to long (new job, new state) let's skip the BS and get to the point.

My wardrobe cabinet is 19 x 32x 60
Mostly everything done, still need to paint inside the cab. I have 4 basic 2.5 gallon hempy buckets, nutes (BC), etc. Out of that $400 I need : 4" fan and carbon filter and led. I'm leaning toward a Blackstar 240( I know it draws about 130-160) If you use a blackstar 240 ... feel free to post some final harvest pix.

lol. well what i have is what i have. I called Victor at Gotham and i could get a new 2014 Bs240 w/ 4" fan and carbon filter shipped for $400. just wasn't sure if that was my best route...

That's probably the right sized led for your space. You may also want to look into the hans bansaihero led. But I'd be interested to see how the new Blackstars perform.

wow...... they dont look impressive..... Ive never seen one( no clue what they will do) but 80 watts.....nah. I'd buy an Apollo first

what's the warranty from gotham hydro nowadays???? I would check that first before buying.

Don't dismiss the little Bonsai panel.......just because it doesn't have a "cool" casing or a "hyped" up description like BS doesn't mean it can't perform. Most of the cost is in the high-bin osram/cree leds used, which happens to be the ONLY thing that matters.

good lighting pays for itself, I would invest more money depending on what your goals are.

Yeah two panels is the way to go due to the price diff, they also have a passive cooled version if stealth is important to you..........but the reg one is quiet too TBH.

Also area 51 is coming out with a small 85w cree? Panel if you have the patience for other options.
