So what's the ideal temperature for lights out? Is it okay if it's warm in the dark?

Night time temperature should always be lower than the day time, not sure of exact amount but there should be at least a 5 degree drop from day time temps. Wouldn't advise having warm plants in the night :-(((

So would 65° be alright?

Yes 65 works out at 18degress celcius, that's what i run my night time temps at, my daytime temps are about 27/28. (sorry i work in Celsius) Yes they should feel nice at those temps.

Id like to add a question to this. Im running LEDs and i keep the temp between 81 and 85 at all times. What kind of effect is this going to have on my plant? What would dropping the temps to 75 at night do to help it? Im still unclear why u wanna drop temps at night.

Molds grow better at warmer temps. That's pretty much the main reason you wouldn't want to keep it in the 80s all the time. especially in dark warm areas.
