The government had a ton of hemp growing programs up to and a little after WWII, they would pay farmers to grow it for them to use for rope, tents, etc. If you do your research and it ends up being bud you SMOKE, stay away I wouldn't doubt it if there were a few kids like you buried in that field. bikers, wetbacks, psychos. ok, so not to crap on anyones opinions of what the two leaves are, but they are sativa either way. hemp is from the sativa strain so the fan leaves look the same.

and i also found this picture that was used in a previous reply to this thread, on a hemp site. its not marijuana...

its hemp hemp grows up to 25 feet. sativa should only get up to 8 max. and well indica just short.

Hemp is marijuana,It just does not contain any thc and if so a very very little.The reason they grow 15-20ft is becuase of the way they grow the plants all packed in together.They dont get much side lighting so it causes them to shoot up looking for light.The sativa plant"non hemp of course" can reach the same height it all depends on your climate,and how close to the equator you are.Hemp fields look like this not the picture above ,it looks fake to me If you go to google and search cannabis sativa you would be surprised how many secrets it holds

yea what i found, i believe now to be marijauna not hemp. it just a shorter plant. they are pretty spaced out and they all get alot of light on all sides. so there would be no need for then to grow tall.

this raises another question... if a plant has no need to put its energy into growing taller than would that energy be distributed else where? such as THC production, and even in that could it go more toward potency or more toward abundence of THC?
