What does LST mean?

Defiantly grow other things then just cannabis. You need side projects and vegetables are a beneficial healthy way of learning more about seed and sun!

This is just really incorrect. Training can very well be done during the 3-5 week period of veg growth.
I'll push that further... when I ran a grow in a short tent, I was Low Stress Training straight through flower.

The plants fight harder for the light at that period, but you can LST right until you chop them.

I was doing LST on White Widow plants that were 4' tall, in a 5' tent. I got 1/2 pound on three plants on my first indoor. I did extensive LST. It was a great learning experience.

I LST all the time at 2 weeks and three weeks...
Why is it a waste of time, you missed my point...
The plant will not yield more in three-5 weeks if you LST it...
You can LST, and I do... it just does not = a bigger yield....
If you want a "Designer" style plant LST it, just don't be fooled into thinking you will get a bigger yield if you LST....
LST just moves around the bud sites more bud at 3 weeks with LST....
No, that would be a waste of time....
Get it now?

So how long was that veg? Another misses the point.... 3-5 weeks LST does not give you a bigger yield... just a shorter plant that fits inside your grow space and it was a great learning exp.... Thanks for agreeing....

i grew my first plants pruning to get four main stem ala uncle ben. lst and supercropping seemed over my head but it turned out it wasnt. it was ez. lst is my preferred method of canopy control. super cropping was cool cuz it taught me how cannabis developes a callus around the injury. and thats why some species are used to make rope. its so durable. the point is i think its to everyones benefit to experiment with different methods. it make you much more well rounded. just be fearless.

I am in no way saying or even implying that it is too complicated or over someone's head. I am saying that the learning experience is well worth going one step at a time. I see growers today that have been growing for years and use all types of techniques because they were shown how or read how, but have very little to no understanding of why...

I learned step by step and it was a learning process I would never trade. It was well worth the time and effort.

I'm not trying to tell anybody to grow naturally or do training. Or whatever. You have not a clue how little influence bending or tying or breaking a stem has on the growth of the plant.
I am really not sure what you mean. Maybe the wording of that last sentence is throwing me off.
