Of course you know to run them slow - even hardcast will shave & fill the rifling if you try to push them too fast. I've only reloaded cast in my .500 S&W, but I make sure I run a gas check projectile to help scrape them clean as well as sealing the punkin.

230 grain 308 cast bullet, copper plated. Copper plating is really hard, and comes out rather ugly.
Muzzle V is avg 1060 fps, subsonic. And it cycles!!! woot!

My buddy has a .50 ae desert eagle... i fucking love that hand cannon. right after i pick up either a 6.8SPC or .458 socom, I will get an eagle.

The casting was fun, but I think in the end I will likely just end up getting sierra matchking rounds.
