Grow tent door

Hey guys I need some help here I've made my own grow tent and having trouble with my door I used Velcrow before but I'm using a new spot ad it's in a room with no heat so I can't get any "stick on things" to stick cause of the cold I tried glueing it on once again to cold I used gorilla glue and an automotive plastic emblem glue so I'm kinda shot down and need help what can I use to get this to work. Any help would be great thanks guys I got babies to go in there so I need to get this done ASAP

if the space is that cold your girls aren't going to like it either. warm up the space with a heater. you need to make sure you clean as much of the old glue off and try again after it warms up.

I mean yeah it's gonna be heated once I get the setup complete I have a space heater ducted in just waiting for a solution for this problem because I have neighbors and can't have anyone seeing any light ever. But this shoe goo does it work In the cold?

If its Fabric to Fabric - use Stapler n Little bit of square cardboard if its thin Mylar or Panda Film. if its Mylar/Panda Film, Velcro and a hard surface(NOT BRICK) then use Furniture Staple Gun.

you can buy a zipper opening for about 10 bucks at a home center or grow store.

If its Fabric to Fabric - use Stapler n Little bit of square cardboard if its thin Mylar or Panda Film. if its Mylar/Panda Film, Velcro and a hard surface(NOT BRICK) then use Furniture Staple Gun.

What do you mean by a hard service like using wood to staple into through the Velcrow? I like the idea but I'm confused a little

Well if you've got a Fabric/Mylar door?? you want I take it to attach Velcro or some sort of Fastener? what I did was cut up some Velcro into strips and same size bits of carboard put the Velcro 1 side of the Mylar door,cardboard in same location on other side and just stapeled together(only used cardboard so Mylar/Panda Film wont tear) repeat on other side of the door with the other bits of Velcro of Fastener..

I think what he means. If you are using panda film or mylar or something thin for the grow tent. You could use a paper stapler and cardboard. goes threw and folds around the ends. You may need to get a larger stapler. depending on how far in the door material you need to go. But the stapler is the best bet for cold conditions. After you get your heat running in there. You could fix any leaks you have with a touch of glue.

I use them on my panda film "wall" and to make them light proof I stick a panda film flap over the zipper, duct tape one side vertically and velcro the other side vertically so you open one side of the flap, then unzip the door.

To be extra sure run layers of heavy duty duct tape over each side of the zippers fabric (the glue part that sticks) so it can take some wear and tear. I cant attest to it sticking in those low of temps but it has worked for me in my indoor location in CO.

Side note: my home depot equilvlent had these and I did not have to order them. Home Depot may carry a different brand, look in the drop plastic area maybe? Painters use these alot.

Well I went with the cardboard idea problem solved, finished her up gonna let it run tonight to make sure my temps are alright then I'm putting in the girls when it's safe
