you love the Big mac index because it supports your ideology
imagine that.

the facts support me and not you.

it's almost as if all you have is theory, talking points, and rhetoric, whereas i am robust with empirical evidence.

that sucks, doesn't it?

choose a commodity, any commodity, that has no government subsidy or price cap, and youll see the same 3x to 4x increase in cost between 1988 and 2012.
a dozen eggs, august 1988: $0.909
a dozen eggs, august 2011: $1.711

188%

gallon of milk, august 1995: $2.482 (restricted data set, sorry)
gallon of milk, august 2013: $3.448

139%

bananas, june 1988: $0.501
bananas, june 2012: $0.605

121%

coffee, march 1988: $2.634
coffee, march 2010: $3.565

135%

yeah, some of them are subsidized, but this is the cost of living increase you are complaining about. unless, of course, you eat an inordinate amount of copper.

Well toodles....
go forth and spread the message that minimum wage does not exist, and i saw many jobs that paid minimum wage.*

you clearly just don't know how to read, or are dumb. not sure how else to explain it.

let me know if you would like me to point them out for ya.

how do you derive the rate per hour from the grand total without knowing the hours worked?

is this some kind of angry, bitter, aussie math you practice?
Don't try and change the goalposts now - historically you have not done well with maths;

my wife makes an $18k stipend at her internship and another $25k or so on her investments. throw in the income i report every year and we are at about $50k.

Who gives a fuck about the hourly rate - it's a $7K taxable income and you don't have any skills that would put you in anything other than the limited means category. Fuck bro you got fired from Netflix.

if such a law were passed, wal-mart would simply avoid it by making all their stores "independent subsidiaries" or franchises.

on the distribution end wal-mart pays decent wages to their truckers, warehousemen and whatnot. they only really pay shit for the retail end employees because really, thats a job any asshole can do, and theres TONS of assholes looking for a job.
so many that even the mexicans have been going back to mexico, since they come for work, and when the labour market is flooded with people selling, and few buying, they dont have the pricing edge they used to.
So is that a no, you would not support it?

i'll ask you once again: how do you derive the hourly rate from the grand total without knowing the number of hours worked?

do you not understand how this works? are you trying to prove that you are stupid?

Bucky - you got no skills! You don't have a trade nor a degree. I don't need the hourly rate to make my statement factual. You're annual income is LESS than the ANNUAL Californian minimum wage. FACT

Taking advice off an institutionalised bigot like yourself is not on my list of things to do. With the way you treat your children, save your pills for them

You know you love my erect ePeen in your mouth. Also, I heard about mummy. Condolences.

yet i still understand that you can't derive an hourly rate of pay given the grand total earned, you also need to know the number of hours worked.

funny how an ASU dropout with "no skills" has to teach this simple fact to someone so grandiose and successful as you. this is the type of thing we learned in second or third grade when we were learning simple division!

riddle me this: if someone made $7000 for the year and worked 400 hours or so, would their rate of pay be above or below the california minimum wage?

takke your time, use you aussie math, all your fingers and toes, and come up with an answer.
