Timer doesn't set right...

KINDLE_CAMERA_1386082458000.jpgTrying to figure out how to do 18 on and 6 off. On this damn thing from 12am-6am I've read the Manual it came with and it turns off to early and on to early. So if anyone knows reply. How I can get it to set correctly and work properly.

I dont have any experince with that type of timer, but when it turns on does it stay on for 18 hours or less?

like less i thought the arrow saying time now was i set that to 12am and it hits that point goes off and turns on hitting the 6am mark but it don't so it turns off like in 10 mins each of the circle points on the clock are thirty minutes probably just gunna go get the two digital ones anyways

On is buttons in...and off is buttons out. You just got it backwards...no big deal. Just reverse it!

the reason I asked is to make sure its not electric frequency issue the 50/60Hz, US 60Hz, Uk 50Hz
my electricity is 60 Hz, and a timer rated for 50Hz, would cause the timer's time dial spin faster making a 12 hr on or off run like 10 hrs only.

I have one...
It actually took me a really long time to figure out you pulled the things..I tossed it though and started running 24/0

Your ? Kinda confused me
Its not a very exact timer..off by a few minutes no matter what you do but good enough

Do you say you own one of these?
I own a mechanical timer similar to that. He is correct you got it backwards.

mechanical timers aren't very precise on the timing since I believe it's 15 minute intervals I would have to double check, but I'm sure that's what they run at

if you want a timer that is spot on, look at a digital timer.

It's not a bad timer. I've used the Same one since I started growing. You just have to figure out the right pin to push for the right time. Remember each pin on mine is 15 minute intervals.

just looked at your pic, it looks like yours is 30 minute intervals.
