Actually marinol works for me I just have to smoke to add in the CBD or I freak. I think there has been evidence of that here
my point was the Gov says real MJ is crap and has no medicinal value.. yet they make the synthetic chemical equal.. and test for less time then MJ has been "tested" and their stuff works.. so why wouldn't the real stuff?

Marinol is currently classified by the FDA as a Schedule III controlled substance........ unlike MJ WTF????

Schedule I drugs are the most dangerous drugs of all the drug schedules with potentially severe psychological or physical dependence.

No they aren't saying it is without medicinal value. They are using a value to risk assessment. Look they are wrong. I agree but Schedule 1 for MJ is based on that fallacy.

Heroin and Methadone is the comparison and I don't agree about that either. But that is the thinking.

from 2011

The Drug Enforcement Administration has ruled marijuana should remain classified as a dangerous drug like heroin because studies have not confirmed its medicinal value, but the agency may itself be to blame for the lack of evidence.
The DEA denied a 9-year-old petition to initiate proceedings to reschedule marijuana in late June, claiming that “marijuana has a high potential for abuse, has no accepted medical use in the United States, and lacks an acceptable level of safety for use even under medical supervision.”

if they cant make $$ on it.. it has no medicinal value..

Oh they are making all kinds of money off it. It is called property seizure & government funding for their Agency.
good point.. wonder what their tally is on that take so far? but you know the Gov.. they take at all ends.. then make loop holes so they can make more ends to take from..

Here is an article from today showing how the UN is warning Uruguay that they are in contradiction of International Law.
As a Uruguayan citizen it really saddens me to see how manipulated organizations are. Where a small country is bullied around by large organizations mainly spearheaded by the United Stated and a joint group of European Nations for simply legalizing a substance. I could write pages worth of this absurdity but Ill spare everyone the time.

Here is an article relating to the same thing published by a leading Uruguayan newspaper. (Written in Spanish)

The DEA isn't to blame because big pharma has had trouble with their product research. Glaxo Wellcome had a tough time with bringing the product to market. Anyway Sativex, which is a full Cannabis product, is being tested in the US for Glioblastoma. It should be released here soon, barring unforeseen issues. The DEA will then reschedule and all of us better seat belt in for Mr. Toad's Wild Ride that is coming.

My pain control specialist is aware of this and we are going to try for off label use asap. I can't wait.

That came as little surprise. The only thing I was curious about was would they do it openly or the quiet coup. But what do I know. LOL Just another hair brained conspiracy wing nut :)

It's not fake simply synthetic. My receptor sites don't know the difference as long as I provide the CBD. But mostly having an RX for Marinol means you never have to say you're sorry :)

It's not a fake MJ product; it's actually a plant extract.

There are two benefits, not counting having a legal Rx.
One is oral dosing ... something about which you know a whole lot!
The other is precise dosing. Each metered spray contains a known amount and ratio of THC and CBD.

For nonsmokers and nongrowers, this'll be a boon in terms of both acceptability and ease of use. We smokers and growers wll have to deal with no longer being the only game in town, of course. The presence of medicinal alcohol doesn't invalidate the activities of microbrewers ...

<add> Sativex, not Marinol. Marinol is indeed a synthetic.
