Kids growing up too fast !

Do you find kids are growing up faster than we did ?
I have a 10 year old daughter for those that didn't know .
She told me to look at her i pad to see what some one has written about her .
It saiad go fuck you and your family , you fucking dog cunt bitch , go back to your fam and tell them
to commit suicide.
I was fucking angry but told daughter to print these pages off
and shoe to your teacher .
The teacher got that angry she had a meeting with those involved , and rang the parents .
Thought it was all over then my wife comes home crying , i finally get the story after 30min of crying
and carry on , The dad of some kid come up to my wife and abused the shit out of her , she left school crying .
We havn't got the whole story yet but it's about these 2 young females that like the same bloke .
1 being my daughter !
Cyber bullying at grade 4 , you have got to be joking !
Kids at 10 telling one another to get fucked cunt , and about suicide and shit ?
WTF is our race coming to ?
My daughter has had me and other parents at the school talking to the princible for god sake .
At 10 years old , what the fuck is going on ?:o

social media for kids is insane.. kids have yet to fully develop their thinking process (like many adults) kids will say crap... you cant teach others kids but you can make sure yours are raised well..

and when it's said on these sites.. which almost each kid at school goes too.. it spreads faster and kids who are the target dont know how to handle it..


I blame Mom and Dad about 98% if the time...

My thinking is that children of that age should not have ipads or smartphones let alone social media, they should be spending these years enjoying being children, not pretending they are adults. If they are so adament that they need an ipad, tell them to buy it themselves. I am generally left disgusted when i see parents talking about what they buy their children for christmas and birthdays, let alone how much they spend on them. was there something inherently wrong with childrens toys that they had to start being given adult toys? What was wrong with a pair of roller skates or such. Now kids get xboxes and such. I guess it's because it's a lot less dangerous to ignore supervising a child using an electronic device than it is to make sure they don't get a graze learning to skateboard etc (i say that rather tongue in cheek given the OPs story).

I agree with Gioua though, I generally blame the parents for kids growing up too fast, not society. When on earth did good parenting become a redundant feature of having a child.

totally agree, ipad at 10 is the parents choice but social media definite no no. you only have to look at how adults get treated on those sites.

Heck, even wikipedia at that kind of age. There are all kinds of pictures depicting quite graphically, sexual practices etc.

Out of curiosity, i've never used one, becing i'm not a parent, but noticed my phone and tablet have "kid modes". Does this explicitly filter the internet like it used to do in the days of the AOL browser etc, that is to say, it blocks any site that even hints at the world shlong, or does it simply stop them foprmating the thing or emptying your bank account at the app store?

Kids grow up way to fast. Especially now a days. My kids best friend (6 yrs old ) has a damn instagram account !? We don't even let my 15 yr old have a facebook account.

K first off wtf is ur 10 year old daughter doing with an ipad...does she have a cell phone also... does she have a facebook...imho if ur child has a cell and facebook before 13 thats fucking crazy...I gkt my first shitty cell phone when I was 12 but I got it cuz she is a single parent and I was by myself a lot so for her to call me n such... and 10 year old should not be on facebook or most forum sites....when I was 10 I was on pogo and kid game sites on internet

I had access to the internet at a way too young age.. I turned out ok but I easily could have met some creep or exposed myself to stuff that messed with me. I ddon't want kids, especially a daughter.

Haha, i tried every trick in the book, nothing. In the end i just had to work out my mas password, they're always silly things like god is good, or vicerage, or such. Naughty sites ahoy!

at school we didn't have so much of an issue, a friend and i just piggy backed onto the bursars unfiltered connection. ah, we had so much fun pissing about with visual basic writing up programs to do this or that.

Well another problem is yiur cant really discipline your kid. I used to get my ass whipped w a belt and it hurt to sit down. You do that now and your in jail. Social media facebook all that bs is crap causing many problems not just for young people but older people as well. When we were young we had a house phone a library and thats about it. now everyone has a smart phone everyone has full internet access. There was less problems yesrs ago compared to now. Looses I phones I pads facebook etc. Your sulpose to be over 18 anyway

I figure if you are still having to spank them after they are 5 years old, you all ready fucked up somewhere. And a spank is not comparable to an ass beating, a spank is more a friendly reminder with a couple minutes of reinforcement, cause if it don't sting a little it was pointless.

Internet access at 10 years old, what could possibly go wrong?


And for the dude who made your wife cry, I'd return the favor. Extra points if you can make him cry, without ever hitting him, in fact, I'd make that the goal.
