Purchasing Solvents Online

If odor is a concern then limonene is your best bet. It actually smells nice. Not nice for a solvent like many find ethyl acetate (it's typically the favorite solvent smell of many chemists, I hate it but that's another story) but actually nice like oranges. You get a colored product that is a bit different from white DMT made with selective solvents that need some heat (hex/heptane, naptha, pretty much any light aliphatic solvent). You can recrystallize from hexane if you want a white or light yellow product (I prefer it but that's quite probably because I'm fanatical about purity and genuinely dislike taking unknowns).
Good luck opening people's eyes!
I'm not a fan of ethyl acetate smells, and much prefer the sweet, sweet goodness that is butyl acetate..

Where I live you cannot buy 99% isoprophyl alcohol on the shelf at any major retail store. So I went to wally world's pharmacy and had to special order the stuff. The lady said I could buy a case (12), but I was somewhat hesitant so I went with 6 16oz bottles. I should be good for a few runs but in the future when I restock should I be worried buying a case or two from wally world? She asked for my name so she could hold it for me when it gets shipped to the store. I gave her my alias.. Paranoid or just safe precaution?

Try a feed/farm supply , I dont think I have ever seen one without it

My favorite-smelling solvent is and always has been ether.

I got yellow goo with the dcm pulls. having a hard time getting it to crystallize so i think i'm going to try some hexane. I read somewhere on the internet someone who was using dcm was having the same issue.

Well, finally got white crystals.. now here is my debate. I want to use the rest of the dcm for recrystallization instead of having it go to waste (since it pulls too much initially) but I can't find anyone else who has done it online. Since only dmt would be left I would assume dcm would do a pretty killer job at recrystallizing? Or should I just anny up and buy some heptane?

DCM would be a poor recrystallization solvent because the DMT is readily soluble in it. You want something like heptane where the DMT will only dissolve with heat. Then you heat it to dissolve your sample and cool it so it crystallizes again. The slower the cooling process the better the crystallization. If you have the time wrap your container in some insulation before cooling it.

what about 99% iso recrystillization? I should have mentioned this in my last message, forgot I had a bunch of it honestly.

It's still pretty soluble. For recrystallization you really want naphtha or heptane or hexane. Pentane might work but it might be hard because the stuff boils at 37C so getting it warm enough could be a problem.
