Hi,

Im a complete noob. iv'e been reading these forums and decided to try.
I know the grow room is bad, after harvest ill swap out the tinfoil for mylar (just didnt have any to begin with)

Is this looking ok? i know its a tiny plant - this grow is more about trying to figure out how to get a plant to harvest.
Next one will be better :)

I am going away on holiday in 3 weeks exactly.
you say another month or so till she's ready. Can i harvest in only 3 weeks from now?
no one knows i have this growing at all, so i cant ask anybody to water it for me while im gone.

hey man,

whats strain dya have?

I am in a similar situation in that I an going away for 8 days over xmas,

I am going to get a pump, bucket and some drip feed rods to keep my girls fed over this time…

I think it would be best to try and figure something out before you go away rather than chopping before you go….

good luck though, looks good...

ive heard that if you have to chop early but theyre already close to being fully done ((1 week or less from fully done)) you can take branches and without stripping much off, put them in a cup of water like a bouquet of flowers. maybe remove bottom leaves so they arent under water, and dont let any bud touch the water, just submerse the stems in a few inches. they will continue to ripen just like if you put roses in a vase and they continue to open. just dont leave them in there too long because it may begin to rot if the water gets nasty from sitting. while ive never tried this myself, i think a week would be alright in a vase? but i dont know how long youre going to be gone for.. or how close your plants will be before you leave..

Looking good for what it is. Be proud. Good luck with the finish, looks like another month or so.

I agree with MM ^^^^ and if you are going to be gone for less than a month, you could rig up a simple drip system. Here is a post I made not long ago that may help. Happy Growing :weed:

I used to do a lot of guerrilla growing and one of the inventions I used was to drill a hole the same size as the OD of a piece of 1/4" tubing near the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket and put the tubing through the hole. You need to put a connector fitting on the tubing inside the bucket and then pull it tight, the fitting trying to go through the hole will make a watertight seal. Take a screw (a sheetrock screw works great) and thread it into the end you are going to put into your pot. You can adjust the screw to give you a regular drip that should keep your plants alive for quite some time. You can also use more than one bucket with a hose or tubing in between (full of water of course
) to give you even more capacity and more time. Elevate your bucket(s) and have a nice trip knowing you Moms will be there when you get home. Have a great day, Larry
