that's the thing, you can keep them at bay easy enough but 100% getting shot of them is a bit trickier. I'm just kind of accepting that there'll be a few hiccups each grow. mainly as I can;t remember the last time i had a full grow without one haha

hahaha i feel ya there! Everytime i get mostly everything on track something fucks up. If its not the plants its my car. hahha But theyre usually minimal enough or short enough that i can still manage to pull through with minimal loss. Never had to toss a whole plant cause mold or bugs so id say im lucky. Worst i had was a bunch of gnats in my roots and that was the soils fault. Pretty sure thats what did it here too.

Ive NEVER had one single gnat with any of the pro-mix ive used. Its always the second i switch up or see soemthin similar but cheaper that i end up with gnats or a dirt that stays too wet or gets too dry haha. Im using pro-terra, which is basically promix but without the gnat control haha.

Never stop fighting!!!

yay for mutants lol. they kinda remind me of blueberry ive grown in the past. Defo want to see how they fair, you gonna top em or fim or go for the single cola with training?

haha man i stopped fighting once, wasn't for me lol. i got the pots topped with soil and sprayed with fertilome up top so hopefully that'll slow them down if not get shot of them, i squished two that were gettiin jiggy in the veg room. :fire: i wanna go out like that haha

Well they're in my standard 1L pots to start and will get flowered in 10L but they still stand about 20" from the pot.
Any advise on potential stretch? I recon I'll cut the apical tip out just before flip, tie em down a bit and do a Yorkie special like the 'two toke killer' tree.
This new spot they're going to doesn't have the height I need so wide and flat is the flavour I think.

yorkie they WILL be over 6 foot unless you do something.

if they are anything like th s1's i grew you will have to lst them.

dog on right with no veg in 6.5l, deep blue on the left in 11l with 2 week veg



I flipped 11 cuttings with no veg n a 6.5l pot, they finished over 3ft tall.

i will be trying to spread my dogs out like instead of them growing tall, im only putting 3 in there and need to choose between 3 of my other fems to fill the space so none is wasted

HI I GOT EM! I GOT MY PUPS!!! I have a S1 Dog who is in good shape and then I have a Smelly Dog whos in fantastic shape. I cant decide which one to grow.. is anyone else growing a Smelly dog? and what Does S1 mean anyway? have a fantastic dog day!

s1 is self made seeds, the mum is also the dad :S

Im still tryin to think what would be the best for em. Might top once then super crop from there. I havent done much super cropping but this dog seems very vigorous so i dont think it will affect them much. Cant LST this round cause im usin fabric pots and LST'ing is my forte. haha

Any suggestions on how to train the dog the best?? Teach them to sit first then to fetch??? hahaha had to.

hahaha i was thinkin that i could get a hole punch and do it that way but i wouldnt want to rip through them. Theyre the more felt like pots than the canvas ones.

but i still might. If only they had a lip, cause in the past ive just tied a string around the lip and looped everything through that. Might have to get a piece of metal or plastic and figure out how to mount it to these pots. Or bust out the old sewing kit and sew in some loops around the top to tie down too. Gotta get the hemp/canvas rope for that! haha
