Can I clone My Auto?

So I have a Auto Berry Ryder, She is an auto flower but when it was her time to flower she really only showed pre flowers and just didnt really do anything so i just put her back on veg and that's where shes been, So my question is considering my auto did not apparently inherit the auto flower trait from its mother can i then clone it since the clone should also not carry the trait? shes coming up to almost day 60 and there suppose to harvest at 61 and shes still growing like a tank.

It wouldn't hurt to try. I mean if you say thats its not auto flowering then what the hey take a clone. Do you have a pic of her. I never had a auto that didn't start flowering by day 24-31

yeah you can clone em, you can also make fem seeds from them too, i just happened to read it earlier http://femaleseeds.wordpress.com/tag/how-to-use-colloidal-silver-to-produce-feminized-seeds/ The guy does it with autoflowers even.....hope this helps!!! Best of luck!

Yea you think you have a bush now. After 1.5 week of tie down heads you will have about triple the amount of heads. Your plant will swallow that bucket. You will really have a bigger yield
Thats a really good idea thanks! I honestly didnt think of that lol

The plant looks nice, bushy and healthy.

But when you say you put it back to veg, are you messing with the lights for an auto plant?

This could be the issue if you are.

Be well

With a Auto it does not matter what light is on. Its going to flower any way. I have had a auto on 24hr before still flower. He just got a phenotype that wasn't auto. It happens

Yes but im not upset about it haha, since you know about autos are they suppose to just like die after there like 61 days to harvest are up?

They just start to die after bud is finish. The leaves start dieing off and buds just start turning more amber color well atleast mine did when I let go to long. I had a crtical jack auto i did outdoors this past season and I couldnt get to it till like 3weeks after it was finish. Leaves were brown and barley hanging and buds was just getting more amber.

Yes. slowly in flower as she become more mature she will die.

Yes you could clone the auto-flower, but your not going to gain anything from doing it.
IMO- your further off not cloning it. let her do her thing.

Good Luck on your grow

IMA. I would not clone her. Cutting branches causes stress witch can slow growth. And w/ auto's there is no way to prolong the vegg stage so all that you will do is stunt the production of bud sites. And your clones(if they root) will not vegg any longer than the mother so you may as well leave those branches alone and let them bud while they are on the plant. Or try it and see. If you do I would like to see if i'm wrong because I have a auto I haven't sprouted yet.(Northern Lights + Big Bud) Good luck

I might try, Shes been vegging for littrally forever and she seems to be fine haha? why cant I prolong veg? And she did not get the auto Pheno from her mother lol allot of people tend to miss that tid bit of info. SHe littrally has maybe 6 little tiny pistels on her whole body

Normally an auto will flower on her own. This is because they are breed from a mother so far north in the hemisphere there is no night fall. (Northern Russia) The plant naturally acclimates to this and finds a way to flower without a night cycle. Yours might have unintentionally harbored the trait from the other phenol. It's really interesting. What are the genetics?
