No kidding greed is all it is. There's no compassion in any of these clubsLook at the LPs trying to price fix already. Screw the patient
How is that BS?Your preference is your preference. I grow in soil and I grow with hydroponics. To me the only difference is the taste, other than the fact hydroponics out performs soil or soil less mix any day of the week.
Something else I would like to add. If anyone says they will produce organically using any form of hydroponics is BS. Growing organically in hydro is like trying to grow in a sewer, it just doesn't mix. If you look up the definition of organic growing its defined as using unrefined mineral salts or manure. Any fertilizer that is unrefined will not have a known NPK ratio.
Ya they can hydroponic nutes are synthetic. Organic nutes are usually not and are a lot thicker, and usually contain particles and who the hell uses miracle grow for mj are you kidding me,lmfao ya the people who know their stuff all no it's bsHow is that BS?
All the compounds in dirt can be extracted and used hydroponically. Do you think miracle grow is truly organic? Lol
I completely agree that we need to cooperate and for a consortium! I am in contact with three other LP applicants and would love for us to pool our lists to form a group. I would love to message you but you don't have enough posts. Can you send me an email address? I also think that growing very high CBD strains such as Charlotte's Web is a great idea.Thats true...good point.
btw..kootenaygirl and marijeJane..our group is looking to start a consortium of smaller lps..smaller lps need to work together to make this successful and compete against the big boys. By working together we can sell each others products, pool resources and help with supply if one gets a bad crop. Since we have our own lab we can test other lps products for them at a much much cheaper rate. Why try to grow a bunch of different strains when you can grow one or two very well without all the issues of growing many.
We plan on growing charlotte's web. There won't be much demand for it at the beginning but imagine being able to offer it to your patients, make a profit without having to actually grow it or test it? If any of you lps are interested please in box me. We're hoping to gather a group of 10 solid lps to work with.
Well said! The MMPR is coming, no matter what. I feel that anyone should be able to grow a few plants, just like tomatoes. I live on a farm and grow my own tomatoes, but I do also buy them at the local farmers market or the grocery store. I think that commercial tomato growers are needed so why not commercial cannabis growers? I am going to be an LP and will grow great organic product in soil.I get that you guys don't like the MMPR. I don't get why. Is it because you think of us wannabes as traitors to the MMAR? Are we government growers? Price fixing, what do you think the black and grey markets have been doing? Greed? Your system was all greed. What? As far as price fixing check out HC, sending brochures to doctors? Only ones with product for sale! Your enemy is Health Canada, not LP's, give the new system a chance and you'll see.
As a patient, in the MMAR, working toward the transition to the MMPR, against the biggest opponent of marihuana (Health Canada), you should support this step toward legalization. Working over a wannabe anything is fun, but your material is really old, don't the other forums have any new material for you?
If you read the requirements for organics in Canada, all products must not be aeroponic or hydroponic. Check eco-cert, pro-cert or OMRI.How is that BS?

I think it's because people have grown so used to doing things one way and they won't legally be able to do it soon. Then there's that price thing. People need to remember that, at least for me, this is not my first drug of choice. I arrived here after years of being on morphine and trying every damn painkiller under the sun. so I feel threatened that something that takes care of my pain reasonably well and has minimal side effects, is being taken away from me. It is still an herb regardless of how it's labelled. I can grow foxglove and make my own digitalis of Christ's sake, I don't get what the big deal is. Digitalis will kill me quicker than any marihuana strain I could grow, but it's ok to grow that!! Makes no sense.I get that you guys don't like the MMPR. I don't get why. Oh I'm sorry. Forgot to reply to that.Patg73...I asked earlier in the thread if you had your lab up and running?
I don't like the new program either. Some clubs are rip offs. Some are fine. There are plenty of clubs offering 5 dollar grams (and even less), which is pretty reasonable IMO. Discounts on bulk. It's pretty much impossible to pay over 150 an ounce these days and that's if you're not looking that hard.I don't believe any of this bs your shoveling. Damn right your farmers I can tell by all the shit your telling patients. And ya everyone has to eat lol you wanna pay 12$ for a carrot or 8$ for beans, and then have to wait a few days for Something you can produce for next to nothing, sounds like reasonable access. once again the drs in my town do not support it. And with all the start up its if will be years before you'll be able to sell cheaper than a patients hydro bill.
There's doctors in our area who support it..not only that..our company is financially backed by 2 doctors and a lawyer. Imagine that.I don't believe any of this bs your shoveling.
