I've been using Jack's Classic bloom booster 10-30-20 since June....cost $10 I think. I still have about 1/3 of the tub left. At this rate It'll last me until March. No nute deficiencies or burn. I point to Jacks for being a big factor in the increase of my plant's health and my yields. I sometimes wonder if I should try something different, but cannot come up with a good reason why I would.
Exactly, and tbh I don't think ya need the bloom booster. my philosophy is if it isn't broken, don't fix it! People seem to think they can get bigger yields by piling on more nutes or complicating things further. If you want bigger yields, 1.) have healthly leaves
2.) Have healthy roots
3.) increase light and pot size
4.) Veg longer
and finally get better genetics

there are no short cuts. That's the formula, it is pretty fuckin' simple!

ETA. Beautiful plant mate! I'd rep but alas mobile sucks

I use this paticular Jacks as it was recommended to me by someone that I respect as a great grower.....I'll probably go with the 20-20-20 if I ever run out of the 10-30-20.

Uncle Ben has almost single handedly got me away from AN. I still use it so I'm not wasting a bunch of nutes...but it's def getting weeded out of my garden here shortly. It started with dropping almost all their additives but a few and now it's got to the point where I'm running three different lines to figure out what will best fit in my garden. Yes you get nice frosty bud from AN and it's ease of use is nice(except for all those damn bottles). for the price though, and I'm getting it at cost, is still up there when u can get better results from something way less expensive and more user friendly.

If I'm around somewhere that sells jacks I'm gonna try that stuff out. I've seen it used in many huge greenhouses, (just flower houses not our plants) and to see everything happy and healthy obviously is a good sign the stuff works. Especially given how many different species of flowers are getting the same food. I used to think cannabis was a special plant with special needs but after reading through bens threads I'm seeing it's not about one specific plant but more botany of all plants.

Its hard to to change lines too, especially when what you've done for so long has made you happy. I guess the huge deciding factor was when I stopped using AN's bloom boosters and saw how much better my plants were doing. Then last week I was like you know I'm gonna try using overdrive on one plant to see what it does...I only used it at 3 ml per gallon so it took about two days but when I looked at the leaves of the plant I gave overdrive it was already starting to burn tips! The last thing I want to do is keep a plant healthy and then lose it right at the finish line!

So I'm doing subs supersoil for the organic plants (easy ass growing with that stuff) I bought greenhouse seeds powder feed when it first hit the US so giving that a try too. (Stuff really works well IMO, no burning just follow directions and your good) last is nutrients from green planet. I got the line at an expo and never tried it so hey why not. Not really sure which way to go I just know I can get healthier plants that aren't stressed from heavy food for a better cost than AN. i work at grow store so finding another line of nutrients won't be hard. I'm also open to suggestions. Obviously jacks will be bought when I get to the store.

To be honest, there isn't too much of a difference between the products. the 20/20/20 I use during veg and swap in the citrus in flower. in fact either one would be great from start to finish. The citrus doesn't have as much P in it, which seems better for flower. I ran both on different plants during flower and honestly couldn't notice a difference. All plants turned out wonderfully, and had zero issues.
Awesome!! You have tempted me to try out the Jacks Classics. I love the simplicity of nutrients that have all the npk equally such as 20-20-20 or even better lower P. Thanks to Uncle Ben and Homebrewer for their extensive contribution in these forums.

Awesome! They look gorgeous, great job. I know for a fact if you use the grow formula or citrus, the results would be noticeably better. When I was using the bloom from Dyna-gro with grow in flower back in the day. I was getting good results, yet I had N issues. Once I read that higher N and lower P results better product. Once I did that I never went back to bloom formula unless its in hydro. So tonightyou is correct about that.

yep I also had a great return on using advanced. but the connie A/b was to expensive for my pockets. now i use age old with some AN supplements (bud blood, Bud candy). but it was an excellent run.
