Hey all, how you doing?
Before i ask the question thought id just say, im a coco convert, and wont be going back to soil, well not for a while anyway. Ended up being in hospital for 5 days and the clones survived,if not thrived and look better than my soil clone(as a standard control). So yeah coco is awesome, love it.
right, so down to the question/query...
to summarise, 3 coco clones, two in 40/60 perlite / coco, one straight coco, just to see as im new to coco.
They are currently on/fed (all per 10lt water @ ec below 0.2)
[grotek Cal-max at 8ml/10lt brings my water to 0.2-0.3 EC]
(( also to being with i didn't have cal-max so was using future harvests Cal-pow at 0.2g/lt to get same e.c and it worked great.))
canna AQUA Vega, 20ml a+ 20 ml b
Cannazym. , 25ml
Rhizotonic. , 20ml
E.C. Is 1.2, fed every 2days min. pH to 5.7-5.8 (over 2days or so the bucket slowly drifts to 6.0but hasn't gotten further as i correct back ever 2 days to 5.6-5.7 and by then the 10lt is gone so...)
all is well, but i want to put at least one of them into flower next week, but looking at the bottles of Aqua FLORES they have a huge K value. If i remember its NPK 4-4-11, and to me that will mess with the coco's buffer of you get what i mean.
So i am thinking to just stick with the VEGA which is 6-3-8 and maybe add 1.5ml/lt of canna PK 13/14 when the flowers hit and until flush, or maybe less,(?)
Im using the PK 13/14 on the mother and her sisters at the moment and they have swollen a fair bit so would probably just do that but they are in soil, and so have never been fed that high an E.C. Also they are on a weak Lucas formula of A.N.'s jungle juice with the PK and Cannazym. Working great ,so i do also have the option to use that stuff, but would prefer to stay away as i would have to change the combo slightly, also it probably would take a grow to tweak it too.
As a side note I'm dissolving my own tricontanol powder as a foliar at the moe and am seeing great results.
anyway ,before i rant anymore, any advice, like don't use the flores in coco, haha, would be great.
And if you cant tell i dont really want to by more bottles of salts to feed these plants when they are doing good you know.
Thanks and take it easy.
