Any ideas what this is?

Hi RIU,

One of my young seedlings is showing signs of illness. I put 3 of them on a stool about 10" to this side of my 400W bulb. 2 of them are fine but this one is showing discolourations everywhere.

I know that it is a bit close to the bulb but the other 2 are fine. Is it something else?

at this stage growth always seems slow especially if you check on your plants multiple times in one day, just be patient. The heat stress probably set them back a little but just relax they will most likely start growing again.
Other possible problems that could stunt growth are soil that isn't airy enough, and incorrect soil ph levels. What kind of soil are you using?

lol u will learn patience if nothing else. always slow at this point, things take hours, not minutes, days not hours and it continues. like^ sixty said, move um around a bit

Okay cheers for that. I'm using coco and I don't understand how come the other 2 were fine.

yeah I understand that, I am patient just been a bout a month as a seedling!

nah no food just water. Have made a mix of quarter strength but not feeding yet.

yeah I think I agree too it's just odd only one suffered. The fan I have is blowing at the light really rather than at the girls.
