My daughter is in fourth grade this year and she really dislikes her teacher and it's showing on her grades.
We knew the teacher had a reputation of being a bitch but it's turning out to be worse than we thought. She bullies the students and doesn't make for a fun/comfortable learning environment.
She's had complaints from parents to the school board and nothing has been done. A couple other parents are sending their kids to private school for the next few years.
The really shitty thing is that she's also the fifth grade teacher so my daughter would have to have her another year after this one and that could ruin her for life.
The thing is is that the school is only a mile away from home and right across the street from where my wife works so it's convenient if anything happens.
I'm thinking about moving her to another school within the district, about 10 miles away, but then we'll have to drop her off and pick her up everyday.
Our family doesn't follow any religion so private school's not an option, and it's an hour bus ride.
Otherwise homeschooling.
Any suggestions/input? This is stressing me out.
