Coffee

I don't recall my having spoken of it, but caffene is still, a mind altering subsstance.

I used to purchase my own green beans, roast them, and then revel in the taste and feelings that a good, truely good, fresh, truely fresh cup of coffee renders up to the drinker.

Anyone else roast their own beans? I had to quit, unfortunately, as even a can of coke will keep me up all night - ah, being old hurts. I turned a fellow on to the method and he loved it, he was the one who gave me all the fent and opana I "wanted", and we would spend hours talking as I taught him how to make REAL coffee.

One day, after a meal of cheap tacos I woke up early and wound up shiiting blood - lots of it. (old guy talk)

I brougt this information to my coffee buddy and he said "yeah, I had that once..."

"oh? what was it"?

"oh, it was colon cancer, here, look at my colostomy bag"

you can imagine how quickly I got myself a colonoscopy.

I fear, not having heard from him in a few months that he is now dead.

No pont you are sufering the regugitation that comes from a cigar, some Lismore scotch, morphine sulfate and codene.

Still, anyone like one of the few legal mind altering substances?

i have coffee every day when I wake up. It is a religion. I worship the coffee grinds. I have not taste for coffee though. My absolute favorite is Folgers. I think Starbucks does not know how to brew a fucking cup of coffee or the beans they get suck balls. Actually I find that true every where I go.... I make the best cup of coffee in the world IMO...just Folgers mixed right.... But I will drink any coffee , however it is brewed... Learned that from Jail. They have the worse coffee you can imagine in jail...but it is still so good

Unless you have roasted your own beans, I assure you, you have not had coffee.

the best coffee i ever had was topped with the milk of my own jersey cow. her fresh, full cream milk each morning. maybe it wasn't coffee by some standards - caffeine puts me to sleep anyway- but it was the best coffee drink. the best butter, the best cheese, the best eggs, the best mj.... try this at home, try this at home!

I have always ben more of a tea drinker myself , but I have roasted my own green beans several times

The roasting process stinks fairly bad , I actually dont want to drink coffie for some time after roasting the beans

Most of the green beans I have had sprouted and grew well / untill the frost atleast

Canndo, sorry about the colon scare, but I gotta ask, what does it have to with coffee(I'm honestly wondering..is it a side effect of overconsumption?)
My father is more a coffee nut than all us combined..he has 2 grinders,3 high end coffee makers and like 6 or 7 jars labled with different beans(kinda like some of our nug collections..lol)..my old restaurant had an coffee 'importer'(he imported rare beans and blends, but it was all smuggled)..one month we had to buy crap from the store because his whole pallett of beans got confiscated by customs..when he got back on his feet I got dad a pound of kenyan AA from dude..it was 33$!!!..dad called me at 6am sharp and said it was 'good to the last pot!' (Not drop..lol)

Hmm, never made coffee that way.
I'm same as you, can't really drink caffeine. But it's a delicacy, every now and then it's okay as long as I know I can handle it(variety of circumstances).

Nothing like some coffee and strong opiates :)
What's your method canndo?

Imp..in jail I didn't have any substance for a week(my 'cleansing' lol)..finally an inmate and I made friends and he had some instant coffee..I stirred up 2 small cups...I was FUCKING ZOOOOOMING!! Jerry springer was actually interesting!lol..
Duck..I'm a folgers man also..was something I picked up from my dad when I was real young..but I only drink coffee at work now..once in awhile ill stay up late and get up early and drink the leftovers of my wifes coffee..but I converted her to folgers from maxwell house after 3 years..one of the few times she actually admitted I was right verbally..lol!

Oh , I have had plenty of home brew. my dad is all into that. Gets exotic coffees all the time... eeeeck! I love Folgers LOL....

I am just trying to get the caffeine though....im a tasteless bastard though, so my opinion on coffee flavors is no good. I am also the kind of guy that will go into a micro brewery bar and ask them if they have Budweiser. I prefer domestic beer to import. Unless it is St. Pauli Girl (my favorite all time) its budweiser

Jail is so horrible yet I have fond memories of it. LOL ! ex. The best food I ever ate was a jail 'spread'. I was so hungry and they only feed you twice a day, once at 4:00a.m. and once at 5:00p.m...............my cell mates were doing a long time , i was only there for a few days...they made this nasty looking spread out of bread and raman noodles and everything combined from dinner... add hot sauce..... hunger is the best spice, something that would make you gag a little if you saw it on a full stomach..... and the people you meet are so interesting...tweakers that are finally sober after a 3 year run and they have all these stories... lol

One day I would love to experiment with roasting beans. Freshly roasted really is better. An old cigar buddy of mine used to roast.

All by choice man...was a train hoppin hippy...actually how I met my wife, funny enough. Its all good just felt when I was on the street and had no money it wasnt other peoples responsibility to feed me (spanging) so I chose garbage cans and food carts that where about to close....but when I came up on sheets as always happened with time...it was good eating for me and anyone around

Yep I agree.
I have a small 15 year old Kona coffee tree in the yard. Beans are still green and she is still throwing flowers at the moment. But, soon I will be able to harvest them, dry and roast and enjoy a nice cup of Jo.:peace:
