10 regular seeds from Beanhoarder (Beanho @ Hempdepot) are getting started today.
The cross is Neville's Haze x S Tooth 3. Here is what Beanho has to say about the cross.

Neville's Haze x Sweet Tooth #3
Indoor
It took me a great deal of time but I finally found my select Neville's mom from a large number grown out from Mr Nice's stock. The Neville's mom now takes first place in my harem for the most potent, head spinning, soaring, electric, and psychedelic bell ringer. Many experienced puffers refuse to smoke it...it's too trippy. The beauty of this cut is that it's large-yielding and finishes from clone in a remarkably short time. Crossed with the ST3 it shortens flowering to a totally reasonable 9 weeks adds density to the bud structure and leaves that super sticky sweetness to Neville's peppery spicy-ness. Real potential lurking in here. Some variation on finishing time but most are centered around 9 weeks.

I am hoping to be lucky enough to find one plant that is far leaning to S Tooth 3 and one plant that is far leaning to Neville's Haze.
So, hopefully it goes well and I have a nice trippy Neville's as well as a heavy yielding SPG goodness S Tooth 3 plant.

I ended taking just one plant to flower. Here are four Neville's Haze x Sweet Tooth 3 from clone in their 8th week of flower.

As I expected, this plant has lots of yield potential. Tighter node spacing than any other neville's/SSH I have grown. Big buds.
There is suprisingly little haze smell at the moment. The haze smell is picking up as the plant flowers though.

The potency is pretty good. It's not much of a hazy high at all. The buds look like a haze... tiny trichs... smells like a haze with a little extra fruit dank. But, the stuff puts me down and out. Not what I was expecting. Overall though, I was pretty disappointed with this pack..

I've always talked up Beanhoarder and very much enjoyed his packs, but this one didn't turn out good at all.
I got 8 males and 1 female... The female herm'd on me worse than I have ever seen. For the record, I'm still a fan of Beanhoarder... his SSH crosses are some of my faves of all time. I think the NH was the parent bringing the problems. Malawi / ST3 could be really fucking good, but I don't know. This pack wasn't very good to me. To be honest though, through this grow, I probably neglected the garden more than I have since my first go at indoors. I wasn't exactly killing them, but I did not give them the level of love that I normally give my plants. I was having some health issues through most of this grow and was having trouble staying on top of things.

I have heard from a good source that DLX Sweet Tooth 3 is the one to get. I've now heard 2 people say that DLX is a certain breeder flying under the radar... I'll just say that if that is true then he would be the guy that you would go to for Sweet Tooth 3. hint hint.

I actually didn't even order the Nev x ST3... I ordered the SSH x ST3 and was sent the wrong pack. I know that Beanhoarders SSH is excellent, so I was confident in what I would get.
I will say though that yields were excellent... I pulled about 30 oz from 8 plants under 1200. For a test grow, in my garden, that's pretty damn good.

I went ahead and chucked the mother out to make room for 7 Doc Greenthumb Bubba OG test mothers. I couldn't justify making room for this plant. I never like to put the blame on the breeder and I am not doing that here. I am sure I could have treated the plants better, but overall, it was quite a disappointing pack.

Let me know what you go with if you remember. I've always enjoyed your work Izoc...
If you are not concerned about yields.... Chimera's Blueberry x Grapefruit (aka Swt Tooth 1.1) is fucking GREAT weed. Every pheno is fantastic in its own way. Beautiful plants... I don't know for sure if he still sells those seeds, but I grew them for about 4 years. 2 of the mothers I kept for only 2 years... 2 others I kept for 4 years. I pushed that plant hard and I would say that it is some of the highest quality smoke I have ever had. The SPG leaning phenos will blow you away. Look, smell, taste, potency and an amazingly feel good high. There are some very clean high phenos in there and some that pack a heavy punch with a complex and well balanced effect.

However, Chimeras Swt Tooth 1.1 (BB x GF) doesn't yield like the STooth from SOL. I would say higher quality though, for sure.

You know. It was years ago that I grew that pack of Chimera seeds... The yield thing might have been me not growing well.

I think I should go through and try this pack out again. Like I said, fantastic smoke.

If there is one plant I can vouch for it is Chimeras Grapefruit x Blueberry (STooth 1.1)

Very nice... yeah I would like to hear how it goes. The SSH crosses are great. I got plants from 9 wks up to 14 wks from his SSH.
When I grew out those he had SSH1 thru 4. I THINK that what he calls "SSH" now is what he called SSH2 back then... The "classic" pheno he refers to it as. It yields pretty damn well in a reasonable/shorter flower time for such a nice hazy plant.

I went ahead and ordered those Chimera GF x BB seeds. Can't wait to repeat that pack..

No, the problem wasn't the Haze parent, it was the fact you only got one female that was Sweet Tooth leaning. Beanho himself said his Neville's Haze mother is super-potent all in the head type of high.

And from experience with both strains, I can tell you that the right Neville's pheno will put to shame any SSH pheno.

But back to the topic, you got the wrong pheno. You can't judge a whole line by one pheno. So I don't trust your disappointment with this strain. It's F1 after all, you can't just smoke one pheno and say the Haze parent is weak just because it didn't come through on that one plant.

I never said his NH parent was weak.. Nor am I judging his whole line.. I said I suspect the NH parent brought the problem with the male flowers.. The male flowers were nothing like some of the banana jungles I've seen here on RIU, but, it was the worst herm I've personally experienced. The plants experienced no unusual stress.

All I said was I was disappointed with the pack.. There is nothing to be wrong about with that. Don't trust my disapointment? Are you saying I wouldn't know 10 good seeds and their results if I saw them?
hilarious..
Put your trust in whatever you wish.. the grow here is just info being put out there. Take it however you want. Like I said, I'm still a fan of Beanho and would recommend him to everyone.. I'm just being honest here.. My glowing reviews (and defense of) Beanho are all over RIU. There are lots of BeanHo haters... most haven't even tried his seeds. I'm not one of them though..
I've done lots of grow reports of lots of different breeders (pre HLH as well).. I don't sugar coat it for anyone.. that goes for seeds that I got for free (journal/seed exchange) as well..
.
What makes you think that plant is Sweet Tooth leaning? It's not like any sweet tooth I have grown (Breeder Steve and Chimera (1.1))
From my conversation with Brad (HD) on the NH parent and BeanHo's description.. this plant seems dead on in most ways with the NH.. the taste and smell is ALL the way haze.. That part I DID like. Looove me some haze smell and taste. Large bong hits, no cough.
Sweet Tooth is a FANTASTIC plant.. again, i'm kinda confused given your said experience with the two..?

It kinda sounds like you read a line or two of the thread and made some assumptions.. That or your experience with the two plants is not as deep as you think it is..
Looking through your feed on your profile it looks like this is your MO... go through threads and play big.. telling people they did/are doing something wrong.. Sounds like a blast!..
ahh,, the pleasantry!

I would recommend him.. checkout my SSH journal.. Until Killing Fields came along this was my all time favorite. KF just BARELY out does it...
Every time I grow this plant I ask myself "Why don't I grow this more?" The feel good nature of the high is amazing.

Yeah. BeanHo is pretty low key..
check out hempdepot daht cahm ... his stuff is up there.

My SSH cut came from his SSH1 x SSH2... fucking fantastic plant that SSH is..

Most of the plants were long flowering sativas with 24in+ cola spears.. then there was one 9 wk plant that grew like a hybrid.. and she was awesome. It's my oldest mother... Gotta be like 3.5 years old by now...
Her vigor might not be what it once was, but, still fucking killer.

I just cut some clones from her today. Can't wait to get those going in about 3wks here... after the KF finishes up.

Thinning the herd of mothers was the best choice i ever made... nothing but elite from here on out..
i had so many moms i couldnt even grow all of them (while doing mono crops) in a year... now i can grow each plant 2 times a year... which is actually worth keeping them around.

It was either start breeding or thin the herd.. as much as i like growing mj, i got other hobbies. had to tone down the mj thing.. the relief of work load was liberating.. i was getting tired of seeing friends smoke my herb and having fun while i was slaving away. lifes to short to spend that much time in the garden.

god damn i can ramble when i get high.. haha.

"Daht cahm"... for some reason I found that fuckin hilarious...

Just checked them out and man do they have a huge selection...

What made you decide to try out their gear? There's just so many breeders and strains out there it's overwhelming. I get enticed by some of they names and every description makes each strain out to be the holy grail. It's good to have guys like you around with experience to point guys like me in the right direction.

I think it's cool that they openly state that they use other breeder's strains for their own crosses. I always respect giving recognition where it's due.

Speaking of... when can we expect "HLH Seeds" to be up and running? Imagine... HLH Bubba's Killer Super Silver Crack F3s lol (mind blown)

Man... I am looking to move away from MJ, not closer.. Just a hobby these days..

Yeah. I feel weird about typing out the address on here for some reason. daht cahm keeps bots from surfing the forums and finding our go to banks.

A while back I would only order from Canadian seed banks... all my orders across the pond never made it, for several years. So, I ordered from Hempdepot ALOT! Beanhoarder seeds were cheap enough that I had no reason to not try them. SSH turned out good,REAL good..

His prices are so low because HD distributes his beans at no cost.. My guess, he works there..
You see, when Bodhi sells beans at attitude, attitude takes a BIG cut... so when Beanho sells his beans, he can pass the savings on to the consumer. = cheap.
At least that is what Brad says.. (HD)

Great alternative to Attitude... Hempdepot is great. Brad won't do you wrong.
