150w HPS Stealth Grow Re-Veg

Its been almost a year now since i started this grow. i ran into a few problems but finally managed to pull off a decent 1 ounce harvest from 2 plants in my grow cab. The buds were frosty and sticky as can be, even though they came from bagseed they turned out very well.

my problem is that during the flowering phase of these 2 plants, my mother plant died. not sure what caused it but im sure that neglect had a lot to do with it. so i have decided to re-vegitate these two plants big enough to where i can take some clones from it to start my new mothers.i clipped all the bud meterial off carefully and left leaves on the plants.i switched the cycle to 18-6 and introduced a grow solution after flushing it for about a week.

the plants are showing signs of re-veg but im wondering how far i can take it.has anyone had luck in re-vegitating for clones? has anyone successfully re-vegged the plants and then flowered them again for a second harvest? im thinking about trying a 2nd harvest while my clones are being rooted.

I did this once and I made sure to trim back the roots as well since what goes on above ground correlates directly with what goes on below ground.

Do a bit of research on the topic. This all can be done!

well here it is, my super stealth 150w grow cab. just a normal plain old dresser on the outside, gold on the inside. this cab has fooled, family, friends, neighbors, aquaintances, and my landlord into thinking its a regular dresser, while producing a fair amount of above average hydroponic bud.

i removed all the faces of the drawers and the front supports and screwed them all together to make a false front. the doors are screwed in, if someone were to accidentally try to open a drawer they would probably be confused.


behind the doors is the perpetual harvest in the making. in this pic ive got florescents in the blooming room while sexing the four clones i took from the potentail mothers.

thanks guys, this is how i flower these babys. its called a shallow water culture with a scrog (screen of green). i got this off a thread called old-timer's overgrow, click this link to check that out ---> http://www.oocities.org/rolanterroy/stealth/stealth_cab.htm its called the marijuana connoisseur's cabinet, this guy fit his in a old tv box in the basement. i haven't yielded as much as he did, i'm working with bagseed so last batch i got a cool ounce but the buds were frosty piney potent little suckers i think mostly indica because the leaves were so fat.

i made a cooltube out of a hurricane glass and the 150w hps fits right in there perfect. then i put a small computer fan at each end of the tube and one small fan blowing right under the light so im cool as a cucumber.
its a must because im only working with about 8 inches of clearance between the light and the container. so thats where the screen comes in, i veg them til the screen is full pushing all the branches under the screen. then i switch to flower and let em go. they spring up fast but then they stop growing taller and the buds thicken up.

i had to tie them backwith twist ties because the buds got a little taller then the bottom of the light .and when i tied them back it
gave some light to the buds way down at the bottom increasing my yield slightly.

Really awesome idea and appreciate the link...been contemplating on looking @ local thrifts stores for old dressers and attempt a setup similar to this with with soil / organics. Subbed up for sure

i have another cabinet plan with one i got from the thrift store for 40 bucks, it was a tv cabinet and it has a shelf that rolls out, perfect for a plant container.i set the rolling shelf way down at the bottom and ive got almost 4 feet of clearance inside. im going to use a 400w hps and set it vertical with a 6 inch cool tube 6 inch duct fan, and whats called a v scrog (vertical screen of green) i can get 4 plants into a screen that wraps almost completely around the light, with i think, like 5 square ft instead of 2 on a flat scrog. im imagining with 4 plants under 400w i will yield a quarter pound easy.

this is the girls after a nice haircut, i just basically mowed em down and trimmed them like a hedge



these are the 6 clones i took from the two revegged mothers. ill hang on to the reveg until im sure the clones are well rooted, but im still tossing around the idea of reflowering these two plants as well. also, i found a few buds that didnt get trimmed in the back will those buds be no good since i put veg nutrients in it?

Yeah...they're probably toast...unless you like smoking chemical bud...

Were they back on 24 hour light cycle? I'm just taking a shot on this one but doesn't exposure to light degrade the trichs? Which would degrade your THC content? I could be WAY OFF...but still it's worth tossing in there

no they are on 18-6 cycle but its been about a month vegging it.

so i went ahead and chopped down the revegged plants, heres a look from the bottom, the branches were hella dense and the stalks were thick, i had to saw them off with a handsaw.



i very happy with my new dyna-grow solution, these clones rooted in about 4 days, with the flora nutes it took almost 2weeks. These roots are taking off and ill have a new mother in no time. as well as two more plants to flower.

update: got desperate and smoked some of those buds that had been revegged. they actually werent half bad. i think its because i had thinned out my growing solution till it was almost only water. i let it go like that for a couple weeks before i found those buds, so even though it had a veg solution in it, it was so watered down that it might have actually flushed the buds out a little. there was a slight chemical taste when inhaling, but the taste on the exhale was decent, and on one hit,Man! im BAKED! lol as far as THC degradation i dont think that it degraded that much, if at all , surprisingly...

i transplanted the six clones into net cups with hydro rocks, the next day the roots had already sprouted out of the cups. im noticing wicked fast growth with dyna gro, its working great without the hassle of mixing 3 different nutes.

I dont do hydro but I use the dyna gro and dyna bloom nutes...have you tried their Pro Tekt? It's good stuff you should check it out...

yes i use the pro-tekt solution to adjust my ph when i use RO water, it comes out very acidic and the pro-tekt is base so it levels out the ph.
