Hey guys, I put out a few different strains this year
Himalayan Gold
Biddy early
purple #1
all of which didn't finish properly(leafy shit bud).
I also put out some Colloidal silver created mix seeds (White widow, big bud,Hercules). Didn't know what was what just put a bunch out.
Anyway one particular plant budded beautifully no mold 5 ounce plus and finished mid September,it's the one on my pic. I brought her in to re veg but she's gone brown and died in the last few days :(. I was absolutely gutted i had hoped next year i could have a beautiful bunch of these baby's. What strains can i rely on to bud properly and finish before the October rain starts and botrysisizes my crops? Someone please cheer me up I've never been this gutted about a plant dying. Cheers. :joint:

look into light depravation, choose when you want the plants to flower just like an indoor garden.

if you have to have the plants 100% outdoors then you will have to settle for autoflowers if you want any bud at all.

Not true at all.

The spot ive had for a few years is about 3 miles drive and then a 15 miniute walk from my house so unfortunately light deprevation wouldn't be realistic. I'm probobly going to focus on autoflowers next year as they are pretty much guaranteed may - august.

Try going to uk canna forums to see what can be done out in the UK. Purple maroc is rated the best and there's a lot more that can be done as well.

please show us your outdoor buds grown in the u.k then, i could do with a laugh!
The only laugh is you thinking you guys are the only ones that can only grow to mid September without any issues. Op cheek out strains such as, early queen, Manitoba poison, jack herer and Durban posion. My blue dream also had no problem finishing this year but there are plenty of strains that will finish in time you just have to make sure they are healthy so flowering doesn't become delayed.

I wont show you my pics as this is my first year of growing and they aren't amazing lol. But these pics are from a diary on another site, they show pretty well what can be achieved outdoors in the UK.

Obviously not as good as indoor, but still decent smoke imo.
