how much should i should i get per plant ???

I realize this could be one of the tougher question I have asked but I have 5 plants(clones) very healthy looking range from 8" to 9" tall. running 180 watt led with 300 watts of 2700k cfls because they are in a space of 3'x3' I don't want them to get too big so im thinking of going to 12 hours light asap. If I do this does anyone have any range of idea how much I should get off each plant ? Also noted im growing northern lights

Thats like asking if I get kicked in the ball how big will they swell. I don't know it all depends on how you grow them and and and and the list just goes on. Sorry dude the question you ask has only guesses for answers.

if they stay healthy in that amount of space with that amount of light and with NL too i could see you getting
10-15 oz on a high estimate if all goes well and you know what you are doing and let each one get to about 3ft tall
not too sure with your lighting i'm thinking your lighting is roughly equivalent of a 400w hps if the led you have is a decent one

if you get less than 5 oz from the whole lot it was not such a success

so he needs to get at least an ounce from each of 5 plants to be considered a success?.....can't see that happening with the amount of CFL's he has.....but IMHO he will be a success with whatever amount he harvests

I don't mean to be a downer, but if you don't have much experience growing, you should really be flowering with a conventional HPS lamp, not experimental technology like LEDs.

I estimate a lowball of 10g on my flower-from-clone strains, but I've seen up to 18g, averaging ~14g under 400w.

Under your conditions if you have sustainable temperature and environment, 13g isn't unreasonable, but that's a high ballpark. I'd say 11.5.

ps. *if* you can maintain tight nodes during stretch

i would not view it as how much per plant , but how much in the space and light he has, some plants may yield more than others
so its pretty pointless working it out "per plant"
if you think he would yield less than 5 oz from almost 500w of light i would consider this wasteful of power and not a success IMO
and you are underestimating what CFL can do, also he has a 180w led, these combined lights i would suggest is going to give him atleast the equilivlent of a 400w hps
which can easy yield 15 oz if you know what you are doing, he has almost 1m2 of space

but IMHO he will be a success with whatever amount he harvests
if he yields 1 gram it will be a success LOL?

5 oz from 480 watts is something like 0.3 grams per watt if you cant acheive this, i would suggest a re-design
since much higher yields can be achieved than 0.3 grams per watt

i believe it is possible to be realistic and encouraging at the same time, rather than patronizing someone by telling them any yield is a success
that's the way folk speak to children to encourage them , i believe adults deserve more of the truth than sugar coated white lies :)

since northern light is an indica strain, you can expect copious yield from this variety. this is just a rough estimate: growing it indoors will give you an approximate yield of about 400 grams per square meter at 60 cm to 80 cm height :) :)

Don't those breeder yield numbers depend on SOG ?
