Hi guys,

growing in organic compost, peat moss, perlite+ lime mix
8L pots
ph around 6.5
lights cfl on 24/7 42w 2700k + 23w 6000k (all i got, ordered 130w 6000k which should be here soon)
lite nutes given to the older one, fish emulsion, 5:1:1
temps slightly high 25-30°
humidity 50-60
have 2 home made co2 bottles in 2L bottles

just want to know if 22 days of growth looks like this...is my plant going to be tiny?? if so what can i do?

DSCF0556.jpg
its only ~5cms tall...

also can anyone tell me if i should be worried about my new seedling?? light/pale green marks on first leaves..

when my new lights come (the 130w 6000k cfl) what should the light arrangement be? can the seedling be exposed now or is it too strong?and will one 130w + 23w cfls be enough for the two im growing? i can still use the 42w but its 2700k so would it be better for flowering?? and lastly how close can i put the high wattage bulb without light stress/burn?

thanks heaps

yea little plant could be abit bigger for her age but given the low light your using she looks fine, nice and green....

yea be cautious with that seedling not worried, she looks like shes had a birth defect.....so just give her some extra tlc till she grows out of it....they cant all be winners....

yes use the 130w light now.......add as much light as you can even the RED bulb, all light is good light, the only reason people use only blue for veg or only red for flower is because they dont have extra bulbs, yes these are the plants preffered spectrums at them stages off growth, so if you can only get 1 bulb blue for veg etc..but if you can include all light happy days......the sun puts out a rainbow after all...

keep all plants constantly around 3-4 inches from blub.......

cfls can and will cause heat and light bleaching, espesh when foliage touches the bulb for a day or so.......check every morning and nite 3-4 inches away...

get a fan on em to toughen them up.........

buy some great white michroriza and add to soil / coco........

when using cfls try and get some side lighting as well....so hang bulbs accordingly...

as shes an auto keep CFL lighting on 24hrs a day for best results!!!!!

and lastly post a few more picks when they in flower......

good luck

Hi LK,

Thanks for the great advice..whats this great white michroriza?? should it be mixed into soil at the start??

I find that starting plants in small containers seems to work better than starting them in large ones. Having the growing medium dry out everyday seems to increase growth rate. Some plants just don't have the vigor of others for whatever reason though. The michroriza is fungus that is supposed to help the plant develop a better rooting system.

Thanks bud tipps,

i will use a small pot next time at this rate...3L probably do..

does anyone else have input on the seedling? is it a mutant plant or was the soil "hot"??
