Mold...help

  • Help...?? I have mold(2-3 inches in center of stock all over me flowers) on one of my "grape ape" girls...full bloom, bout 3 weeks from harvest..i'v been told to cut out that part n clean stock with clean water...any other suggestions...? I am also turning up fan n heat in the room...i can't post pic until "maintenance man" is outta my apartment (major pluming issue)..​

I'll post pics asap..i have maintenance men in the apartments and don't wanna open the door.."dense fog/smelly ladies"...lol..it will be this afternoon...11:30 now..so prob about 2:30 tilli can get back in there....:/ ... "middle finger to monday"

You need to remove all of that mold completely or it will continue to spread. Good luck

Imho it is often advisable to remove the plant completely. Microscopic mold spores can still be there and can't be good to smoke. I would suggest using the uninfected flowers from the plant in some sort of hash preparation. Jorge Cervantes used to have a youtube video about washing moldy buds in peroxide.

Yes I know. I just thought the video was interesting and somewhat applicable. Be it botrytis,fusarium, or powdery mildew I would advice the removal of the plant from the grow room. The risk of spreading the infection around to your other plants isn't worth it.

I would agree 100% sir, sorry if I came off rude just didn't want any confusion for other readers.

Going thru a spell of PM , let my humid and temps go crazy for 2 days and Pow mold. Found a solution for mold late in flower, ph water in a spray bottle over 8>ph I used 10.5 ph, spray plant down it will control the PM till harvest w/o ill effects. So far after 3 days, PM is on the run.
