I can't really bitch either as I've seen a lot of the world and been to some really cool spots..
And my mom always told me, shit can always be worse, and no doubt has been .. I've got plenty to be grateful for and anymore I try and look at it being the glass half full kinda deal..

Just got a call from my buddy in SC, thinking it was just to shoot the shit and whatnot.
Anywho, he said he is coming up this weekend, as he has a gift for me. Turns out....

I AM GETTING AN R32 ENGINE!!

Apparently his sister's husband had an r32 that was totaled, from the rear end and was just gonna scrap it. So Dylan said he knew someone that would want it, guy said sure just give it to him.

Fucking ironic, considering what I was saying about dropping an r32 engine into an mk3.

Fucking stoked, so now I need to decide if I want to replace the vr6 I just dropped into my GTI, drop it into my mk3 and get rid of the 1.8t, or find a frame to put my Scirocco shell on and drop it in there.
Decisions, decisions.......

could always gift it to a friend, or even the 1.8t for that matter.. :D:D
R32 is mine lol.
Eh the 1.8t has seen better days honestly, it has 267,XXX on it right now.
Leaning on dropping the r32 into the mk3 tbh, seems more logical than replacing the vr6, and I don't have the money to essentially completely rebuild the scirocco, if I were to do that I would be looking at 20k easy.

I second that statement.
I think it would be badass if they came out with a new version of their old pick up as well, as long as it didn't look like every other pickup out right now. Maybe do a "throwback" of the older truck body style. I know it'll never happen like that though. Saw some really nice modded ones at H2Oi.

I agree with that and I'm not even a VW guy. It pisses me off when cool cars can't come here.
The worst was Ford selling the Focus RS in Europe and the POS SVT version here.

There was a period in time where I was obsessed with the rs, then Mitsubishi started selling the Evolution here and I kinda forgot about them lol.

I'm just generally a fan of rally cars so it makes me sad so few of the street versions make it here.

You jelly bro?
I've just recently dropped a vr6 into my GTI build. Which will prolly end up being my daily now, since I've decided to drop the r32 into my mk3. So now instead of sinking money into the GTI, it's gonna be going into the mk3.

GTI is almost where I want it though, just wanna redo the interior, get a stage 4 clutch and a short shit. Also leaning towards a respray.
