interesting, but hedged with wishy washiness,

I'm not trying to be an asshole, but I think racism is a LOOOOOONG way from being conquered.
But on the bloody war point... I agree. Maybe not over the pot, but a revolution is coming.

yes racism remains a problem,
but there has been an ever increasing improvement since ww2 was over.
the ganja laws get worse and worse tho,
things will have to get much worse before they get better, most likely,
still I hope for a non-violent solution, i have faith,
but i would not bet on it improving without a major bloodspill.
sad. people are ignorant and stubborn too.

Racism hasnt been conquered after so many lifes have been taken and lost..
the only way racism could compare to legalization of marijuana is the fact that back in the 70-80's some schools were still given textbooks that dated back to the 50's and slave times.
i guess you could say that our nation still has textbooks from the old age about the stance on marijuana..

How ignorant of our governments to dismiss the medical properties of marijuana without even trying.
My guess is they have tried, & realized that it is the answer to a lot of ailments which they already have drugs for, but don't want to lose the revenue their drugs (which would be hard for the general public to manufacture themselves) bring.
Wouldn't be very profitable for them if they legalized it with a side note of everything it cures..... people would be growing their own medicine.... and that makes the gov feel threatened that we will not need to rely on their lab created drugs.
There is no money in the cure..... only in the repeat prescriptions.

oh i know, the paper industry would lose it's capital, house hold products would..plastics..hemp is amazing..in all honesty, it would be much cheaper to mass produce.. not only that i'm betting that we could make fuel for our cars from hemp plants. hemp = god? hmm...

Need I remind the hypocrisy behind Marinol? It's an FDA approved synthetic THC, meaning our government has given the a-ok to mass produce synthetic THC which doesn't work half the time yet keep the perfectly safe and natural version illegal... It's fucking ludicrous.

i'm really tempted to buy a camera and do my own documentary type of gig about marijuana and mdma.. and than somehow put it out there for the mass public to get it's hands on..this whole marijuana revolution/ordeal is so cool to be in the midst of..it's a rosa parks type thing

I tell you what, if it ever did become legal, my loft would be dedicated grow room... and the shed, and the other little shed, and my pantry, and probably a plant in my cupboard.... then maybe a couple of hundred dotted about in the wilderness.

I mean, who the bloody hell are these people telling us we're not allowed to sample natures fruits! Its quite possibly the only drug you can pick & smoke there & then (might be a bit damp, but fuck it, you could still bong it!) with absolutely no processing, or chemicals to get a final product.
They keep playing on the outdated notion that 'its a gateway drug', or 'cannabis funds serious crime'..... I don't think I've ever met a supplier/dealer who solely deals with ganja that has had a bad bone in his/her body.
Instead of re-classifying it (as they did in the UK recently from class C to class B against the advice of the top drug scientist) they should double their efforts to rid the street of crack/cocaine/heroin.
I just hope it happens soon, the world would be a much better place.... even if people had the intent to do wrong, they wouldn't be bothered to get off their arse and cause any trouble!!
