Strain: Big Bud.

Timeline: Week 7 Flowering.

Medium: Fox Farm Ocean Forest.

Nutrients: Fox Farm Trio (1/2 Dose Tiger Bloom), 1Tbsn Black Strap.

Feeding Schedule: Feed, Water, Feed (Molasses Throughout Flowering).

Water: Tap Water Ph 6.8

Problem: Last week I started to notice the same thing that happened to me on my past 2 grows: Mature Leaves develop purple stems and start turning a deep purple color in late flowering. This is not something that is connected with the Big Bud Strain and have I been pointed towards a (mg) or (ca) deficiency. I am posting about this again to hope to come to a solid collusion and remedy with updated high res photos. I have since flushed my plant twice. The second time with the recommended 4ml per gallon of Botanicare Cal-Mag. Any positive Identification or educated personal experience welcome.

Thanks,

Those are approaching the end of their life. Most plants get yellowing of their leaves late in life, especially if you have cut back N too much. Anyway that might explain at least some of the yellowing.

Purpleing is normal at end of flower when nightime temps are lower side... the yellowing is also normal and i wouldnt worry about it cause its litterally about to flush time anyways and less green is good when drying IMO.

She Hasn't really bulked up yet. Completely full of trichs though. The Firm width of the colas are only at about 1 1/2".

After reading some posts a while back I completely took "Grow Big" out of my flowering nutrient routine.

Do you think the lack of Nitrogen has shortened my grow time as well as made my yield suffer?

Havent researched big bud much but i have critical mass which is a spinoff of the big bud. My critical mass is a 10wk strain, do some reading and findout how long everyone is running the big bud your breeder put out. The pic i quoted is long ways from ready.
