If you ware trying to get pH down, don't use silica. Silica generally raises pH. Yes you can use them both in a waterfarm.
The main concern will be your PPMs and I'd suggest having some CalMag on hand just in case.

Please do not listen to this poster about Silica Blast raising PH. Silica Blast has a buffer in it and does not raise your PH.

Silica blast is very watered down potassium silicate. It's only 2% Si according to the label, with an NPK of 0-0-0.5.

It doesn't have a pH buffer in it, it's just so weak that it couldn't possibly change your pH. Other products change your pH more because they are more concentrated, but still potassium silicate.

Silica blast is a waste of money if you ask me. It's competitors are way more concentrated form of the same salt, potassium silicate.

The reason it doesn't move your pH is because it's homeopathy. The essence of potassium silicate, without the body of potassium silicate.

The salt itself comes as granular powder, so why do people even bother looking for a liquid. Freaking stoners!
