Just needed to show off. Just smoke at this awesome park I found, and its really close by. one of the most beautiful parks ive ever seen. Its an old quarry, with about 10 different quarries, and one that you can swim in. most are 50+ feet deep. Each quarry is about a mile away from eachother so its nice and private. Also, I found hemp growing:mrgreen::blsmoke: I think this is officially my new favorite spot in the world.

looks like a cool place, wish I had cool places like that.
did the quaries fill up with water? or were they doing some underwater type mining or some crazzy stuff like that?

Ya, they filled them up with water as a safety precaution, and the rain keeps them filled. they used to be granite mines in the fifties. the city even stocks them with fish so you can fish blazed. Its like this park is designed to be high at. Im sure you have a place man, this park is less than 5 miles from my place and it took me two years to find it.

Lovely, absolutely LOVELY. I love the water. Our few quarries out here are nasty and polluted. There's a lot of pollution from the gold mining days (we're in Cali gold country). Some of them get positively putrid.

I miss living near the ocean. I like the mountains, they're beautiful, it's easy to find totally isolated spots and all. But.. there's something about the sea...

We had a quarry, year ago..In 1976 during the Montreal olympics, the womens diving team showed up and started diving naked...that was a glorious day
And screw surviver...we had a quarry tribe...we'd roll around in mud and have stupid contests...
Ahhh Good times.....

maybe its just me and where I live, but it seems like more and more cool places are just getting teared down, and EVERYTHING as far as you can imagine where I live is private property. just when you think ahh i can finaly relax you realize some asshole in a million dollor home is spying on you cuz they have nothing else better to do, and more than likely already dialed the police just for the sheer hell of it.

even public places are designed so people or cops who drive by can scope the whole place in a glance. cool ass hiding places are a thing of the past these days.

I know i'm just being bitter (happens when you don't smoke). any place realy nice you got get in your car and drive 30-50 miles, for me that is.
