Most have a constant drain hose attachment that you can rig into a large can to catch it.only problem is you have to vent them too, they throw out a canny amount of heat. and the ones that don't you have to empty almost daily.
My tank on my dehumidifier is only 2 litres so I connected the constant drain hose to a 10litre container. Empty it every 3-5 days when in use.
If the RH is good during lights on you can use the humidistat on the Dehumidifiers to gauge what %RH you want to maintain and then it may only come on during dark hours to keep RH under control at that time.
This is how mine runs.
Then during dark hours it adds extra heat to the room without me needing a convector heater etc.
